Hey, I'm Juan. I'm a software engineer from Brazil, based in Germany. I love the command line and terminals. I put my energy into way too many things, but lately it's been figuring out how to do agentic coding while still using proven software practices.
Away from the screen, I boulder and climb.
What I work on
I spend most of my time inside pi, a coding agent that’s like the neovim of coding agents: extensible, keyboard-driven, yours to customize. I use it for everything and write extensions and skills to make it fit my workflow.
I also maintain a collection of CLI tools and dotfiles that tie it all together.
Projects
- basher - A package manager for shell scripts. Install packages from GitHub with a single command.
- gob - Process manager for AI agents (and humans). Run background jobs, await results, stream logs.
- sub - Shell scripts with superpowers. Organize commands into namespaced CLIs with completions and help.
- mcpli - A CLI for interacting with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
